Good to know
* Limonenes are natural components of grapefruit essential oil. Relevant for people with allergies.
Essential oils are obtained from flowers and plant parts. They combine the concentrated power of the plants and, in addition to the scent, have various positive and negative effects. People with intolerance to certain plants often also react to the corresponding essential oils. A single essential oil consists of up to 200 chemical components - some of which can have an allergenic effect. For this reason, 26 allergenic components have been defined by the EU. These must always be shown separately in the overview of ingredients (INCI) and let people with allergies know that certain products should be avoided.
Our ingredients can do that
1. Jojoba Oil
Quality: organic, cold-pressed
Jojoba oil absorbs well and provides long-lasting protection against moisture loss. It leaves no film and does not clog pores. Jojoba oil is oxidatively very stable. It protects other oils from going rancid (in the product and on the skin) and thus from the formation of free radicals. Due to its similarity to sebum (sebum), jojoba oil has a balancing effect on sebum production. A property that makes the oil particularly valuable for oily skin. In addition, jojoba oil cannot be metabolized by bacteria that occur with impure skin and clogged pores. It deprives them of their livelihood. That is why jojoba oil is predestined for impure skin.
2. Squalane
Quality: conventional, vegetable from olives
Squalane feels very light and leaves the skin soft and smooth. As the skin's own substance, squalene is an essential component of our skin lipids. Our oil is hydrogenated from the pressing residues of olives. In order for it to be used for our facial oil, it has to be processed. The raw material becomes squalane (with a).
3. Black Seed Oil
Quality: organic, cold-pressed
Is a concentrated active ingredient oil and ideal for impure skin and even acne in two respects: Due to the naturally high proportion of essential oils, it has an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and slightly antibacterial effect. Another strength of the oil is the content of polyunsaturated fatty acids. They regulate cornification, improve skin moisture and strengthen the skin barrier.
4. Vitamin E
Quality: non GMO, from soya
Vitamin E acts as a radical scavenger.
5. Grapefruit Essential Oil
Quality: organic, pressed from fruit peel
Its strong antibacterial effect helps to contain blemishes.
